# Migrating a Subdomain

 * Hello,
 * I am migrating a couple of my sites from GoDaddy Web Hosting Linux to GoDaddy
   cpanel. I have successfully migrated one sites but I am stuck on how to set up
   the database for the subdomain.
 * For example: I have migrated mywebsite.com but I am stuck on how to set up the
   database for new.mywebsite.com.
 * I will try to get more specific.
 * Under MySQL Database in cpanel- what do I put for the database name? The wp-config.
   php file for the subdomain has the same DB_NAME, DB_USER and DB_PASSWORD as the
   we-config.php file for the regular domain. When I input the same username in 
   MySQL in cpanel I received an error saying it already exists.

 * Moving from one hosting account to another can sometimes be overwhelming. Moving
   WordPress can be even more exciting as you now have site files and a database
   to work with. Have you tried looking at the [Moving WordPress Codex page](https://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress)?
