• I just moved the files from a sub-directory to the root of a site, but did not change the URL/URI info in settings > general.

Now I can’t get access to the backend from both the root or the sub-directory. Does anywhere know what file(s) I need to edit to get this sorted?

    thanks in advance!

I’ve tried each one of these methods, unfortunately nothing is working. On the front end the home page loads, but every other page I try to navigate to is just blank (though the permalink is correct in the URL bar).

When I try to log in, I just get the wp blank screen of death.

I’ve tried disabling my current theme and my plugins in case it was caused by white space before or after my “<? php / ?>” lines but still no luck.

    Please help,….

This is difficult to diagnose without access to the server, perhaps you should ask your host to look into it?

Blank page usually means error output has been disabled, you would need to look into the logs (located in various paths, depending on server setup).

It could also possibly indicate problems with url rewrites, perhaps they apply only to the sub older you moved the site from, or you didn’t move the .htaccess file (if any, apache only)
