• I just migrated an older version of WordPress that originally used the old ms-files rewriting method. So files were store in blog.dir originally. I moved them all to uploads/sites/SITENUM, but the problem is after changing the ms_files_rewriting setting in the sitemeta table new uploads are fine and the links of the new uploads are showing the correct file path and name. But NOTHING is changing for the old images I moved over. This doesn’t seem to be a search and replace issue as I search and replaced all of the sites and the media library is still not finding the old images.

In their media information I see that they are still using the /file/DATE method, despite ms_rewriting not being used and doing a database replace on the setting to make sure its set to 0. The URL settings on each of the sites are also blank out. I’m not sure what is forcing the OLD media library items to keep the old URL file structure. I did this before with another network site migration and I did not have this problem.
