# Migrate to another database

 * I’m on WordPress 2.0 and have two MySQL databases available.
 * I’d like to migrate my WP installation to another database to free one up for
   a new content management system I want to install (it needs an empty database).
 * Can someone recommend the best approach for this kind of migration so that I 
   don’t lose any of my WP content?

 * It’s basically backup / restore.
 * It should sit okay in the existing one though ..
