  • You can set your permalinks to show .htm at the end. There’s an old plugin that does this. For things like the home page, you should use a redirect. For actual files (/product1/file.exe), you can leave them in the same place and WordPress won’t be involved, since the file exists.

    There are a couple of plugins that can help you migrate the content.
    Import HTML Pages
    WP Scraper
    Import Legacy Media
    anything that converts a site to a RSS feed or CSV, which can be imported
