Migrate from local WP to Online WP?

You can use the default WordPress importer.
Or you can export the database with PHPMyadmin, replace the URLs and import it on the new database. That’s what I do in this case.

I tried both… WordPress importer is limited @size of the file, and it blocks in the middle often…

I’m using the phpMydmin and exporting tables from local to online, but it’s a manual daily job, and slow… so I’ll try to find a better solution to automatize the process…

My main reason is the Load of the site caused by many plugins using cron all the time… (auto-tagging, auto-categorizing, auto text corrections, etc etc…) so the online site has only few lightweight plugins installed, and it’s super fast…

    Thanks anyway!

    Cheers!
