I have installed EZStatic and MicroWiki for a development portion of my website but got into whole lot in trouble trying to use UTF-8 non-standard symbols with it. The reason for that is, my local language is Bulgarian, which uses cyrilic alphabet. When I enter cyrilic text, at first it’s stored properly and shows on the page. If then I decide to edit this page, in the edit box the cyrilic letters turn into strange symbols. If I save and re-edit the page half of those symbols change to romboids with a question mark inside. Basically, while I can enter cyrilic text in UTF-8, I cannot edit and store it back into the database. Is there any solution to this problem or should I move to a different wiki platform?
