    Hello,
Great plugin – thanks for sharing! I am developing a site for someone with limited technical ability and this plugin does exactly what they require. The only hitch is that once a shortcode has been added using the Insert Download button (in the Visual Editor), there doesn’t appear to be an easy or intuitive way to associate the shortcode with the file it is associated with.

I read through the support forum and came across 2 other entries asking roughly the same question:
    https://wordpress.org/support/topic/custom-link-text/ and https://wordpress.org/support/topic/having-only-shortcode-in-editor-is-ambiguous-difficult-for-editing-large-lists/

…but the replies to both entries don’t apply in my case.

I can manually enter a title attribute e.g., [download id="1234" title="Best PDF Ever"]
but it would be great if the title or slug could be added dynamically. I’m ok with adding a title attribute manually (and showing my client how to do this), but how likely is it that these manual title attributes could be stripped (by the plugin) going forward?

Is there a known method for dynamically adding a ‘human-friendly’ identifier to the download shortcode?

    Thanks!
    PK
