I’m not seeing any slides loading in any browsers. Having code wrapped around the shortcode can cause layout issues but shouldn’t break it completely. I’d still remove any code wrapped around the shortcode for now though just to rule that out as a factor.
You had said that the slides aren’t private, I’m guessing you double checked to make sure that they were published and not scheduled or saved as drafts?
Do you have any other plugins that could be causing conflicts, what theme are you using?
Hi thanks for your response. I have removed all the code around the sliders and checked that all the slides are published (yes) . Just tested it when not logged in – seems it is not browser specific but login specific (i.e. also not working in Chrome after I logged out of WP) – all of the slides and pages are published with public visibility
I am using Canvas theme
Plugins:
InfusionWP (activated but not set up yet)
and Tiny MCE Advanced.
Thx!
I figured out it is conflicting with my InfusionWP plugin – any idea why? I don’t really have a choice but to use that plugin but I would really like to stick with Meteor Slides too!!!!!
Hey, it looks like you got this working. Did you figure out how to make the slideshow public in InfusionWP?
Hey – yep – it is working and is a really great plugin. Haven’t figured out the InfusionWP conflict yet. Is there an easy solution for this? I don’t see how to change permissions specifically for the slideshows…. thanks!
I would check with them to see if the plugin supports custom post types. You might be able change the permissions for certain post types, so that the slides are public but the other content is private.
