Hi, that slideshow spot in your theme has the default slideshow that is built into the theme, if you want to use Meteor Slides instead you would have to remove that default code and add the Meteor Slides template tag instead.

So that slide isn’t meteor slide?

No, the slideshow in the theme demo is built into the theme. It looks like it loads images from the latest blog posts. Meteor Slides is a standalone slideshow that can be added to any theme and the slides are separate content that can link to anything.

The latest blog post doesn’t show up on that spot either and I’m wondering why.

You would have to set that up in the theme options, or maybe add featured images to the blog posts.

In the Forester Theme Options, there is an option that says “Enable featured slider,” for which I have enabled. And then just below that option says “Input comma-separated tags for the featured slider,” and this is the part that I don’t know what to put there. I tried putting in some of the news category names such as “General News” etc… there, but they were still not working. Do you please have any idea what is to be put there? I’m still counting on any assistance you can give me.

    Thanks!

Because it is commercial, I don’t have access to this theme to look at the code or try it out. I’m not sure what kind of documentation they have for the theme, there might be a readme file in the theme, or you may be able to login and access documentation online. If nothing else, since you paid for the theme, you can access their support forum to figure out the answer to that: http://www.theme-junkie.com/forum/

Thanks, I really appreciate your support. I’ll look more into it at the forum.
