Metaslider shortcode placement

Hello,

I would like to deplace my slider below the frontpage banner (header) and I would like it to stay on all pages.

I tried copying the metalisder shortcode in my header.php file but got a message saying it was not working and wouldn’t save it.
I figured I could possibly add it ass additional css under the personalize appearance but here again a get a bunch of errors and the slider doesn’t appear in this div container.

any help would be much appreciated.
