  • I haven’t been able to find a way of doing this either and agree that it would be a great feature. I copy and paste each layer into the new slide, which I find to be unnecessarily time consuming.

Pretty much how I’ve handled it too.

[Aside to the plugin developers] This is a needed feature.

Actually, I just realized a way you can swap out the image. Delete the background image via FTP. Then re-uploaded the image (I did it through WP, but you it could probably also be done via FTP) and make sure if had the exact same file name and is in the same location as the one I just deleted. Viola, your background image has changed.

Of course this isn’t ideal if you don’t want the file names to be the same.

Almost as much work as remaking the slide. I would still like to see a “Change background image” button.

Ah, Okay. It isn’t for me because I have a lot of layers on my slides. But yes, I totally agree, a “Change background image” button would be ideal.

    Hi there,

This feature has been in the pipeline but is still in testing.

Rather than copying each individual layer you can copy all of the layers from the ‘Edit Source’ tab (select all the HTML) and paste into the same tab in a new slider with a new image.

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks,
    Dave
