  • Can you explain a bit more on “not working”? Error message? Blank screen?

No know bugs but you can check for some errors you might get some hints.

Previously, once the page loaded, I got the arrow dots under the first image images that would scroll through the 5 images I have set for the slider. The arrow dots do not load and only the first image is displayed.

    Hi,

I see that the slider images exit and the markup structure is correct. So, indeed that script that triggers the slider functionality didn’t trigger.

There is a Javascript error from the plugin Autoptimize which would cause this problem.

    So, please try the following:
    – Backup your website
    – Deactivate all the plugins especially Autoptimize and activate a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twentyone
    – In case this fixed the issue, start activating the plugins one by one to figure out what causes the issue.

If you need to save some time, deactivate Autoptimize and check if the issue has been fixed.

    Thanks.

Thank you! Autopimize was the issue. I just left it deactivated.

    Michael

I’m glad that your issue has been fixed. please let me know if you have any questions.

If you want to keep Autoptimize on you should be able to add an exception for jQuery and flexslider to allow those scripts to be loaded in properly.
