MetaSlider not showing for some sliders

    Hello,

    I am having trouble with the MetaSlider Plugin. The first sliders I created are working fine. Now I have 10 sliders and the 11th one and all the following are not working anymore. They are not showing up on the page even though they are added like the others. The preview for these sliders are not working as well. I could not find any relevant error messages in the JavaScript console.

    It works with other themes: Haven’t Tried (as it works for some sliders)
    It works when I disable all other plugins: Haven’t Tried (as it works for some sliders)
    Meta Slider version: 3.8.1

    Hi @hewicker,

    Can you double check to make sure the id in the shortcode is correct? You can verify it in the URL of the settings page for the slideshow in question.

    Hi @kbat82,

    thank you for the quick reply. That was my bad. It came from an earlier fix I tried to make a new slider. This did not work.

    Now I changed it back to the original ID but it is still not showing up.

    Hi @hewicker,

    Can you check the slider settings (advanced settings area) that both Print CSS and Print JS are on?

    Hi @kbat82,

    it was not activated. Once I activated it the sliders are showing as before. I don’t recall ever changing this. Now I have tried to create a new slider and it is activated as default. No idea why it hasn’t been before. Thank you for the quick resolution!

    Hi @hewicker,

    Every now and then this happens to people on some servers. Not sure exactly why but my best guess is that the server sometimes cuts off the save and since those are at the end of the payload, the server thinks they are set to off. We have some changes planned for the future that will address this, but if it happens again just check on that setting.

    I’ll mark this as resolved, but feel free to comment or open a new issue if needed.
