Support » Plugin: BuddyPress Docs » Meta title of docs is only sitename

  • Hi. Don’t know why, or whether it’s specific to my theme, but the meta titles of my Docs are simply “Nagual Grove” (my site’s name). Is there some kind of genius trick to fetch the title for that tag?

Also: What is the custom post type identifier for BP Docs? I want to integrate it into MyCRED and for that I need to list the post type.

    Thanks

Hi Number_6 – What do you mean by “meta titles”? Do you mean the content of the <title> tag in the document head?

The custom post type slug for BP Docs is bp_doc, unless you have explicitly changed it.

Yeah <title> is simply coming back as the name of my WordPress installation. I’m not sure how to approach this problem, and I thought that it could be addressed in a plugin update since I’d have to go back and manually rewrite the meta title after each update.

    Thanks for answering my questions.
