Meta Tag Help

I am having trouble finding where the text “Continue reading »” /> ” can be removed from my header tag. If I click view source from the front page, I can see it in the Description meta tag. However, when I try and find it in any of the multitude of files, I cannot. I have read about changing meta tags using the header.php file, but this does not resolve my problem. It has been bugging me for weeks now.
