  • Hi ecvogel,

Please could you let me know which version of Meta Slider you’re using?

If you’re on 2.3-beta or below, please could you upgrade to 2.3 and see if the admin page starts working? I was hoping I’d have a fix in there for this..

    Regards,
    Tom.

Hello, this is version 2.3 I don’t know the previous version used, but it would have been direct from wordpress.org. So I would think the beta was never used? My friend installed it and he doesn’t know how to go in via FTP/SSH to manually install plugins.

I FTPed in. Deleted all the files, downloaded it manually from wordpress.org uploaded it and the same thing.

    Hi ecvogel,

Could you take a look at the ‘Admin Screen is blank’ section about half way down this page: http://www.metaslider.com/documentation/troubleshooting/

    Regards,
    Tom.

What next? It is already at that setting.

    Hi ecvogel,

Did you check out the link I posted? Please could you try adding the code that makes GD the default image editor (you can find it on the troubleshooting page). Also could you tell me how big your source images are (im MB)?

I’ll definitely be taking another look at this memory issue in the next release, it’s a tough problem to solve. In fact, I think it’s unsolvable in some cases from our end.. we just need to take some more steps to avoid it as best as possible.

    Regards,
    Tom.
