Does nobody know this or tried to show the event in a (revolution)slider?
The slider does shows the feature image and title.. but thats because it is the default post meta i think. I only need the “event date” in the slider and i am finished.

I am hoping I can get some help here as I have exhausted all the research avenues I can think of.
I am trying to display events in the popular Revolution Slider and it is asking that I input the events posts’ meta such as {{title}} or {{excerpt}} that work great. However, what I of course want are each event’s dates, times and venue. These are what I can’t work out or seem to find anywhere.
Revolution Slider has a meta tag {{meta:somemegatag}} that you would think would support any tag.
I have tried {{event.start}} and also {{meta:event.start}}, but no luck.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry for not replying sooner. I’m not sure whether this will work, but please try {{ start }}. We store very little info in post’s meta tags, so no useful information can be found there. You are welcome to suggest improvement on Timely Product ideas page: http://ideas.time.ly/, upvote an existing request or make a new request there.

Does anyone have an answer for this? I am trying to do the exact same thing and no tag seems to work.
{{meta:_EventStartDate}} should work for start date of an event.
But I cannot get the venue address working 🙁
I am displaying a custom post type event that i have created and it has a meta called wpcf-inicio. It worked for me using @intelektual example {{meta:wpcf-inicio}}
But does anyone knows how to access post data inside a custom shortcode?
My date meta is a number, i would like to format it before displaying. The way above it only shows a number. And if i try to use get_the_ID() inside the shortcode, hoping that revslider is doing a loop, it gets the ID of the page where it is.

Sorry, i got it working… just sent the ID of the post in the slide through shortcode parameter.
