I only have one description tag on my frontpage, except for the twitter and og meta tags, but they are all the same.

Yet, Google insists on using my most recent article as the meta description, causing my site to lose search indexing rank constantly.

Why is this the cause?

We checked on the source code for your page and currently the meta description set in your code does match what is being displayed in the search results on Google. If you are still experiencing this issue you may need to clear your browser cache and we have a guide on how to do this here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-clear-my-browsers-cache/

Can you please try this and letting us know if it resolves the issue?
