    Hi eaf201,
I checked this page and All in One SEO Pack is working fine – view-source:http://www.pageshepherd.co.uk/freelance-producer-director/

Hi, it is working on that page but it does not seem to be working on the index page: view-source:http://www.pageshepherd.co.uk/

I am trying to optimise for the keyword ‘page shepherd’ but the website is not showing in the Google results.

    Any ideas why not?

    Hi eaf201,

All in One SEO Pack will output whatever you enter in the Home Title, Home Description and Home Keywords fields – http://semperplugins.com/documentation/home-page-settings/

If you just look at the source of the index page of the website http://www.pageshepherd.co.uk you will see my problem.

No title, meta description or meta keywords are showing in the source code – despite the fact that I have entered the following info into these fields in All in One SEO pack on the index page.

Title: Page Shepherd | Freelance Producer & Director

Description: Page Shepherd is a freelance television director and producer with extensive prime time credits for BBC, C4 and Discovery on a wide range of human interest subjects…

Keywords: Page Shepherd, Freelance producer, freelance director, television producer, television director, producer, director, London, UK

    Please help!

    Hi Page,

The title is showing, you can find it on line 6 of your source code. Here is what it looks like:

    <title>Page Shepherd | Freelance Producer / Director</title>

Make sure you enter your Home Title, Home Description and Home Keywords in the relevant fields in All in One SEO Pack under General Settings, Home Page Settings.

Yes the title is showing, but why are the Meta keywords and description not showing? I have entered home description and home keywords into the correct fields as below:

Description: Page Shepherd is a freelance television director and producer with extensive prime time credits for BBC, C4 and Discovery on a wide range of human interest subjects…

Keywords: Page Shepherd, Freelance producer, freelance director, television producer, television director, producer, director, London, UK

    Please help!

Can you update to the latest version of All in One SEO Pack and see if that fixes this.

Just updated and the meta description and keywords are still not showing on the index page.

    Hi Page,

In that case we will need an administrator login for your site so that we can troubleshoot this further. You can send us your administrator login using the contact form here – http://semperplugins.com/contact/

I have sent admin login details via the link as requested – please confirm you have received them. Many thanks!

    Hi Sai,

All in One SEO Pack does not appear to be running on that site. Are you running any caching plugins or doing any minification? If you are then please disable so we can see if that fixes the issue.

    Hi wpspmort,
I use “All in one SEO pack” plugin for my website http://tprodeveloper.com/ and it is not showing the description in the search results of Google. Could you please help me to solve this problem.

    Hi TProDeveloper,

First thing you should note is that Google doesn’t have to display your Meta Description in SERPS. More often they will display a description based on the search term entered and the relevant content on your page.

Second, if your Meta Description you entered using All in One SEO Pack is showing in your source code then the plugin is working fine. Google will pick that information up next time they crawl your site. You cannot force Google to crawl your site, you cannot control how often they crawl your site. You can submit your content to Google and ask them to index it but it’s up to them when they do this, it could be days or weeks before they do.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi wpsmort,

Thank you very much for your quick reply. I have just checked my source code and found out that All in One SEO Pack is not showing description and keywords. Could you please help.
