# Meta data in reports

 * Hello!
   We have written a plugin to add a number of meta fields to each product
   and order in WooCommerce. Is there a way to add these meta fields into the new
   WooCommerce Reporting (4.0)? Most documentation / stackoverflow / etc I can find
   predates 4.0 reporting.
 * Any help or pointers are appreciated.

 * For reference, this particular forum is meant for general support with the core
   functionality of WooCommerce itself. For development and custom coding questions,
   it’s best to ask for insight related to those on either the [WooCommerce Advanced Facebook group](https://www.facebook.com/groups/advanced.woocommerce/)
   or the [WooCommerce Community Slack](https://woocommerce.com/community-slack/).
   Many of our developers hang out there and will be able to offer insights into
   your question.

   to get some further insight/information.
