# META data does not update

 * Hi there,
 * I’ve rechecked every meta data (title, description), and let google search console
   recrawl again, but the meta title and descriptions don’t get updated in google.
   It still is showing those from the maintenance plugin (which is already removed
   from the site)
 * Any help would be very much appreciated!

 * Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin. I can confirm the maintenance plugin content
   used as your meta description in the Google search results. However, I believe
   what you have entered in the Yoast SEO plugin is what’s in the page source:
 * `<title>The Rock Studio - The Rock Studio</title>`
 * `<meta name="description" content="Welcome to our studio for all your recording,
   mixing and mastering needs!" />`
 * This means the problem is not with the Yoast SEO plugin but Google hasn’t updated
   their index. Since you have requested indexing and this hasn’t helped, consider
   posting a question in the [Google Search Central Help Community](https://support.google.com/webmasters/community).
