Hi @mohsin17868,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
Most of the times this issue occurs because of Cache and the Permalink setup. Did you clear all your cache from the website, Server or your CDN servers? If so, there could be a conflict on your site. Please run a conflict test to check what actually causes the issue.
To do so, first of all, switch your theme to a default theme like 2024 or Hello Elementor and check if the issue still persists. If that solves your issue, that means the issue is related to the theme you are using.
If switching to the default theme also doesn’t help, then please check if there are any conflicts between the installed plugins. To troubleshoot the issue, please deactivate other plugins except for Elementor and Metform to check if the issue still persists. If that solves your problem, activate the plugins one by one, and continue checking the issue In this way you will be able to detect which one causes the problem.
Let me know your findings after performing the conflict test.
Best Regards,
Moin
Thankyou for your kind resposne and detailed solution.
I have tried clearing cache, cloudflare cache, but nothing worked.
i tried changing theme from astra to hello, still the same.
I tried deactivating some plugin it didnot help either. But i dont want to deactivate some plugin as it breaks site and makes the design unstable.
Still no luck so far.
Hi @mohsin17868,
To check and find out the root cause, it is important to check each plugin. Deactivating a plugin or theme may break your site temporarily, but when you re-activate your theme/plugin the site will be all okay again.
If you do not have the scope to test it in a live site you can test it in a staging site or in a local environment.
Feel free to reach out to us with any questions or clarifications.
Thanks,
Moin
hi thanks for the help.
I checked all the plugins by activating and deactivating in the staging site.
Found this plugin Headers Security Advanced & HSTS WP causing conflict with met form and preventing from editing in elementor and taking me to the post section of the website when i click add new form.
As I tested, reactivating Headers Security Advanced & HSTS WP after adding or editing met form is not affecting met form and form is visible and working on the front end.
Thanks for your kind help
Regards
