messing with theme editor/theme/search template ruined my site!
-
i had a wordpress blog being used to serve as our website (we are an auto performance shop: http://www.powerzamcam.com) and there has relatively been no problems. but recently i noticed the site looked the way i wanted it to on firefox, but safari and ie showed some issues. hoping to fix them myself, i tried changing the theme and theme editor tabs within the wordpress interface and with the search template tool. i actually wanted to remove the ‘search’ bar altogether, but ended up ruining my site! i restored the site back a week through dreamhost (our server) but to no avail.
we had a custom theme and we loved it, but it seems things are out of control now and we’re at a loss about what to do next.
is there a way to restore or revert back to an early date back to what we had?
thanks!
