# Messenging

 * I like this plugin. The one problem I have is that you should disable Friends
   which is good, but then that disables the Messenging component. Would be good
   to have Followers and be able to PM any member. I suppose this is outside the
   scope of this plugin.

 * BuddyPress has a hidden option so autocomplete can work for everyone if the friends
   component is disabled.
 * Add the following snippet to [/wp-content/plugins/bp-custom.php](http://codex.buddypress.org/plugindev/bp-custom-php/):
 * `define( 'BP_MESSAGES_AUTOCOMPLETE_ALL', true );`

 * Okay thanks for the info. I cannot see that file however. Do I have to create
   it?
