I’m looking for a way to implement real-time comment reply notifications. Traditionally WP can be setup to send email notifications. I just started using the plug-in ‘User Messages’ which gave me an idea.
Is there anyway I can alter the messenger plug-in so that when someone replies to a comment it sends a notification to their inbox.
The point being you wouldn’t need to check your email client every time you want to know if someone replied to your comment.
I’ll be happy to clarify further if anyone is interested.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
