  • I was messing about today and really faffed it up – is there a simple way of reverting back?

Sorry if I should really know this, I just can’t figure it out. Cheers.

Try re-uploading a fresh copy of the theme.

Cheers, will that leave everything else in tact?

I have managed it to get it back, but I have another question,

Is there a way to make it transparent to match the rest of my site?

(at the moment you’ll see its a nasty brown colour.

    Make what transparent?

You can’t really even tell the footer is off brown from the rest of the page. Why can’t you use the same background you used for the main section?

That’s what I was trying to do which messed it up in the first place. The main of the site was fairly easy to make transparent, but I can’t figure out to do this with the footer, without bodging it. If you know a way to do this I would be very grateful.

As footer is usually encrypted and you try to edit it, and that results in swear damage.

If your theme contains encrypted code, how do you know whats it’s in it? It could be running anything. I’d recommend you get a better theme.

Mysique is decent GPL theme and does not have any encrypted rubbish in it.

To get rid of the colour from the footer area, look in style.php, find:

    #footer{  background:#EED69A;

    change to

btw are the footprints in your logo supposed to be two right feet?

Hi , thanks for the reply, will sort that out when I get to work.

As for the logo, yup bit of a muck-up there, I spotted it last week and we’re working on it lol.

    Ok, changed to

But now it has some strange shading on it…

    What do you reckon?
