    Hi, I gave a 5-star rating to a plugin by accident, while I wanted to give it 1-star.
    Here is the link of my review.

    Could you please help me to fix it?

    I can’t do anything about it.. I’m not a mod. But, if I may offer a suggestion (and I don’t mean to add insult to injury):

    This is taken from the plugins main description page:

    Please use this plugin with caution and not on a live site!

    Clear BuddyPress button will truncate tables: messages, groups, notifications, friends and forum posts. All users except one with ID=1 and all corresponding data (usermeta, activity etc) will be deleted too.

    I would encourage you to fully read plugin descriptions before using them in production.

    Or perhaps I am misunderstanding something, in which case I apologize. Still, the point is valid 🙂

    Just my $0.02… thanks for reading.

    Well, I read the description, and used it only on a development site, so it didn’t do a big harm on my site. However, yes I can see now that the problem was that my admin user didn’t use the ID=1, as another plugin changed that, that’s why it was deleted. This way it seems there’s no problem with this plugin (which worked well otherwise). Anyway, I gave the plugin a 5 star, and now fixed my review as much as I could, so I hope I didn’t damage the author’s reputation. Thanks for the help, Josh.

    @aglaonike,

    I think you did a fine job fixing your review 🙂

    I can only imagine the frustration you must have felt when realizing what had happened. Fortunately, you are savvy enough to know where to get the backups 😉

    @andrew,
    My problem is I also added 2 additional comments to the review, and this way it would be awkward if I edited only the original review. Do you have any idea how I can delete/edit my comments? However thanks for the link, next time if I mess up a review I will use this solution.

    @josh
    Yeah, I was really terrified when I realized that my “mistaken” 5 star review was actually correct 🙂 I wish I could delete it completely.
