# Messaging App Notification

 * We have implemented the messaging extension. When a message is sent the mobile
   version shows a small number next to the icon informing the user of the number
   of new messages. This notification however does not show up in the desktop version.
   Is there a specific reason why? Any help is greatly appreciated.
