# Message: no body specified

 * The status of my sendings, in the log, says “no body specified”.
 * I know there are old posts on this topic. But I would like to know if there have
   been developments since then.
 * I installed Post SMTP for use with Better Notifications for WP (BNFW). I decided
   to install SMTP Post because Better Notifications said this: “If you send out
   notifications with BNFW, do not receive them, you need to install an SMTP plugin
   to improve email deliverability. I recommend using **_Post SMTP_** as it’s easy
   to set-up or Email Log to just log and view emails that are sent.
    ** _Are you
   aware of any conflicts between Post SMTP and other plugins?_
 * I guess I have to deactivate each plugin one at a time? Or is there other simpler
   methods.
 * Here is the plugins activated:
 * Akismet Anti-Spam (4.0.3),
    Authors Widget (2.4.8), Better Notifications for 
   WordPress (1.6.13), Code Snippets (2.10.1.1), Contact Form 7 (5.0.1), Easy Table
   of Contents (1.6.1), Flamingo (1.8), Forum_wordpress_fr (4.1), Google Analytics
   Dashboard for WP (GADWP) (5.3.2), Jetpack by WordPress.com (6.0), MOJO Marketplace(
   1.3.3), Post SMTP (1.8.3), Shield Security (6.6.4), Ultimate Member (2.0.8), 
   UpdraftPlus – Backup/Restore (1.14.5), User Role Editor (4.40.3), WP Maintenance
   Mode (2.1.2), Zotpress (6.2.4)

 * Hi again,
 * I must add that the sending test was successful. The status in the log is “Send”
   and I have received the test in the inbox of the specified email.
 * But if I publish or edit a post, nothing is okay. The log message is then “No
   body specified”.
 * Maybe it can help to diagnose the problem ?

 * Hi again and for the last time !
 * I found the culprit. It was me… sort of.
 * When creating a notification with **Better Notifications**, I wrote a subject
   for the notification email but I wrote nothing in the body of the message because
   it was a test !!
 * Now, with some texts in the body all is nice.
