Message is sent but no confirmation screen – ajax-loader.gif spins endlessly

    I just upgraded to Contact Form 7 version 3.5.3. When the user clicks the submit button, the message is received via email but the confirmation messages do not appear on the user’s screen. The validation error messages are also not appearing.

    Please note, I’ve read the FAQ, tested it using the default theme, but the problem still persists. Any ideas on what to try to fix this?
