    Hi,

first of all: Thank you for this plugin!
After my last update to WC 3.3.3 (it seams so), the message for pending articles are showing although the article is out of cart. Further it seams that this is not when I logged in WP. Example: Logged in with Firefox and put an article into the cart, Chrome, Safari and Opera show the message. Than I deleted this aricle in Firefox, and refresh all the oterh browsers – the message is still there. Hope you can help me?!
    Thank you and best regards
    Mike

… one thing more: Further it seams that this is because “WP- Super Cache” does not change the status. Because when I clear the cache for this product all is fine with the other browsers too. Maybe you know problems like that with “WP- Super Cache”?

Caching is always a difficult issue when dealing with dynamic content. The easiest action is to always make sure that any shop and cart pages are not cached but this does minimize the usefulness of the cache somewhat.

Hi, thank you for your quick answer! Is there maybe an solution?

I’ve never used WP Super Cache but it looks like under the settings in the Advanced tab there is a setting textbox that says:

Add here strings (not a filename) that forces a page not to be cached. For example, if your URLs include year and you dont want to cache last year posts, it’s enough to specify the year, i.e. ’/2004/’. WP-Cache will search if that string is part of the URI and if so, it will not cache that page.

If you stick part of the URL that is associated with any of your shop pages in there then it will not be cached.

    Hi,

thank you for this hint, that’s it. I will use this for “cart” and “checkout” too 😉
    Best regards

You should not need to for cart and checkout, it appears WooCommerce sets a no-cache hint on those pages. It’s something I’ll look into also doing in the future for pages that have dynamic inventory.
