# Message doesn't show

 * When I send a message from an account with the role subscriber (default role 
   for my site) the message doesn’t show up in the box. When I sent from an admin,
   however, it does. Can you guys help me?

 * I’ve just tried it with that theme in a test site and it worked just fine with
   the subscriber role in chat.
 * Could I ask for you to try deactivating all other plugins and just using the 
   chat with that theme?

 * I am indeed referring to that theme. When I disable all plugins with the ward
   theme it still doesn’t work.

 * Thanks for your reply. I’m unable to replicate that locally, really strange one
   since as you say it only affects subscriber users.
 * Could I ask what happens when you try it with a different role such as author
   or contributor?
 * Also, could you please enable debugging like described here:

 * And then let us know what errors turn up there?

 * It affects every role except the administrator role. There is only an error for
   the ram-usage plugin that comes up when I enable debugging. Does it have to do
   with permissions? It is really strange because when I switch back to the default
   theme, it works. But on your test site it works with Ward too? I really don’t
   know what to do.

 * I have also tested it on my test using ward theme and subscriber user account,
   it worked fine without any issue.
 * I can see you are using WPFront User Role Editor plugin.
 * Have you changed any capability for Subscriber user role?
 * Could you please try resetting capabilities of the Subscriber user role and deactivating
   WPFront User Role Editor plugin?
