[Resolved] Message Body: [your-message] problem

  • I have the contact form 7 loaded up on my site with a basic default setup other than inserting the askimet fields into the form for checking for spam. Nothing else has been touched.

When I goto the site and fill out the name, email, subject, and message fields, I get a successfully sent message, but when I open up the email, I see this (I X’d out the email so I could post here):

    —————————————-

    From: adam <XXX@XXX.com>
    Subject: Help!

    Message Body:
    [your-message]

    —————————————-

My question is, why am I getting the [your-message] for the message body instead of what I actually type into the field?

  • Got it to work now….

    Hello,

I’m having the same problem. The form used to work before I updated the plugin the other day. Please help as I’m about to launch my site and have a few contact forms embedded.

Autosym~How did you get it to work?

    Thanks,
    Julie
