 * You need to change the **permissions** of the file, not the contents, however,
   you can do this quite easily using your preferred FTP client, such as [FileZilla](https://filezilla-project.org/).
 * You need to login to your server via the FTP client using your existing hosting
   account login info, locate the file in question, right-click it and select ‘Permissions’–
   this may vary with different FTP clients but it’s generally the same.
 * The CHMOD value you require is 644.
