    Hi,
    Thanks for reading.

On https://bloeise.nl/gastbloggen/ I have set up a form with success. Then, inexplicably either after an update, copying the form or something else, it stopped working as expected.

When you use the form without being logged in, the standard confirmation is given. That s: “Thank you for posting on our site. We have sent you a confirmation email. Please check your inbox!”. The mail notification as set up in the plugin is not sent.

However, when I am logged in as a WP user, the form works as expected.

I’ve copied and altered the form to https://bloeise.nl/persbericht-inzenden/. This form works as expected also when not logged in WP. I’ve compared the two with their settings but could not find a setting that solved the issue.

    Any help is welcome.
    Best regards,
    Thomas

  • Hello @bloeise,

If you can mention the version number after which update you are facing the issue, that will be great.

Can you please check plugins conflict in your site? In order to check, please temporarily deactivate the plugins except for WPUF and then check if the issue exists. This deactivation is temporary and you can activate your plugins again.

If you still face the issue after deactivating other plugins, please contact us so that we can help you out by checking your site.

    Hi Mushrit,
thanks for your reply, much appreciated!

    It’s version 3.1.9.
I am a bit hesitant with deactivating my plugins, but will give it a try.

    Hello @bloeise,

Okay, let me know once you have an update.

    Hi Mushrit,

The problem turned out to be: Settings / Submission Restrictions / E-mail Verification. This function doesn’t work as expected, the user of the form does not see any mails whatsoever. In addition it sets the message after sending to standard and the administrator also does not receive any message. Unchecking this option cleared the issue.
