Merging WordPress with WooCommerce with WordPress

    Hi there,

    I’m building a new website for a charity (in WordPress).

    The charity also has a shop website (WordPress + WooCommerce) hosted elsewhere. This is separate from their current live website.

    Ideally, I’d like to merge just the WooCommerce elements from their shop website into the new website just before we go live (this has to include all the WooCommerce parts: products, customers, orders etc).

    I’ve read information on this that suggests it’s necessary to keep the WooCommerce DB IDs intact which might be difficult if you are importing WooCommerce data into an existing WordPress website (where there may be duplicate IDs). I’m not sure how reliable this information is.

    What would be the best way to go about this?
