# Merging not working

 * HI,
 * i have enabled merging JS files, but in the frontend wpo still creates 40 single
   wpo-minify-footer.js files.
 * How to fix?

 * Hi there! To resolve the JS merging issue, try clearing the WP-Optimize cache,
   along with any CDN and browser caches you may have. Then, ensure “Combine JS 
   files” is enabled in your WP-Optimize settings. Once that’s done, check your 
   site to see if everything is merging as expected. If the issue persists, feel
   free to share your site URL with the settings enabled so we can troubleshoot 
   further!
