Hey there Yikes folks – Thanks for a great plugin!

Just a quick question RE the Profile Verification Email:

Rather than the default “Greetings” is there the possibility to add a merge tag for the Name e.g. Hi *|FNAME|*

I’ve tried *|FNAME|*, [FNAME] & [NAME] but no luck – and it’s always nicer to send a personalised email rather than a generic one.

I see there are several others available, but nothing for name?

Wrap the text you want to be the link in [link][/link] tags.
You can also use these tags in your email:
    [url] displays your website’s URL
[email] displays the subscriber’s email address.
[subscriber_id] displays the subscriber’s unique email ID.
    [form_name] displays your form’s name (i.e. Newsletter).

    Hi @iamhere,

Can you explain what you mean by the profile verification email? That sounds like MailChimp’s double opt-in email which is not customizable.

The text you’re quoting is from our Update Profile Email, which does not support all merge tags. However, adding the possibility of using the FNAME/LNAME is a good idea and something I can make a ticket for.

    Cheers,
    Kevin.

    Hi

Yes, I mean the Update Profile Email, which does not support all merge tags.

    Great thanks
