Merge players

I’m trying to merge players, as one of the newish features allows, and long story short, I can’t seem to figure out how to.

Is this an automatic thing when the players have the same name, or is there a way I can select multiple players and click “Merge”?

Right, that makes sense, thanks for that. I got excited, we get some duplicate players added through typos, and I was hoping there was an easier way to fix it than SQL. No worries, I’ll keep my fingers crossed for in future

There is already an option on the ideaboard: https://sportspress.uservoice.com/forums/285525-ideaboard/suggestions/32946667-a-merge-player-team-event-utility
