• Hi,

I have a test scenario where the memberpress bot is removing a role on a member that has an active membership when that same user has had a role removed by another bot. When I attempt to run the API to refresh that role on the user it does nothing. If I manually add the role, the next refresh from the memberpress bot removes that role.

What other information do you need to help troubleshoot this issue?

In this case, I am testing Whop integration. When a user’s payment fails, whop removes that users roles but it seems like it also removed the roles that the memberpress bot assigned leaving that account without any roles.

    hey 👋

We couldn’t listen to changes made by other bots, but you can always reset roles for members under members table, you will find a button name “Run API”

    Hi Ravi,

Sure, I didn’t expect you to listen for other changes. I just didn’t expect it to remove roles if the user was booted from the server.

I have attempted to execute the Run API function a couple of times. I see things in the log but those roles are not being added back.

Any updates on this @ravisoniets? Running the API removes the role if I add it manually in my scenario even though the user has an active membership.

@msmithng Hey Could you please disable WHOP bot for a test and then test with RUN API again. I believe the WHOP bot is being fired again and removing roles given by the MemberPress Discord Bot.

You can also see logs of roles actions inisde discord.

    See how to view logs:

I’ll give that a shot. Sorry for the delay in response
