Menus option doesn't show posts, only Pages and categories

    How can I get a box with posts to show, so I can pull them into a menu? Currently only Pages and Categories show. Have tried with twenty-ten and no plugins activated.

    Probably a silly question, but: have you created any Posts?

    Next: click the “Screen Options” tab in the upper-right-hand corner of the screen, and ensure that “Posts” is enabled (checked).

    yes, there are about 6 posts.

    FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, I swear the screen options looked different on my laptop than here on this computer. Well Chip, I consider you a genius and that has fixed my problem.
