    How can I change the background color of Menu / navigation bar of Attitude theme?

    Most of my site is white, and the navigation bar is not easily visible

    Try adding this CSS - best to use Custom CSS (if not a theme option, add via a plugin such as Custom CSS Manager)

    #access {
        background-color: #xxxxxx;
    }

    Use the hex code for whatever color you want.

    Is there a way to change the color of the text within the menu bar? I changed the color of the bar to the same blue the theme uses, but now the text inside is not easily visible.

    Best,
    Maria

    Thank you so much for your quick response! I really appreciate it :)

    I have one more question: is there a way to make the text visible when you hover over it? Right now, when you try to click on a page in the menu bar, all you see is the blue with the subpages underneath. If not, I'll deal. I was just curious since you obviously know what you're doing :)

    Re yr question: " is there a way to make the text visible when you hover over it? "

    In your style.css, line#687, change color from #05A9C5 to #FFFFFF

    @ac100, if you're not aware, when the theme updates any modifications made to theme files will be erased.

    I realized that this post is resolved but I want to ask one more question.
    How to make the submenus to be same color as the top level menu?
    I see that in your website http://www.readingforpleasure.net/ , the submenu items are not blue.

    #access {
        background-color: #xxxxxx;
    }

    Thanks in advance
