 * Hello,
 * In ‘Who can see this link’ I choose ‘Choose which roles can see this link’, but
   then only one checked role is saved. I cannot select multiple roles. For excample:

   Menu only visible to the purchasing department and for the sales department.
 * Only the last one is saved when clicking on ‘Save menu’.
 * I have 15 different roles and about 60 menu items.
 * Thanks for the help.

 * Hello [@misterraiden](https://wordpress.org/support/users/misterraiden/),
 * Thanks so much for posting. We’re sorry you’re not able to save multiple roles.
 * Can you please first check your PHP `max_input_vars`? If it’s only at 1000 or
   so, we recommend updating your php.ini or user.ini to have at least
 * `max_input_vars=2500`
 * If you’ve never edited either of those files before, please check how your hosting
   provider recommends updating them. They might need to make the update for you.
 * You can also see if you have any PHP messages in your error logs or run the **
   Query Monitor** plugin while trying to select multiple roles. Both of these ways
   will confirm if you’re getting a PHP error.
 * Cheers!

 * Hello ,
 * Tanks you so much! I am sorry but I was in vacation.
 * I have installed the Plugin Query Monitor and you are right. I receive an error
   “
   Unknown: Input variables exceeded 1000. To increase the limit change max_input_vars
   in php.ini.” I don’t have the permission to modify these php files. I must contact
   my hosting provider. I think that will solve the Problem. I will definitely post
   here an update when the problem is resolved.
 * Have a great Day
