Menu problems

    So I’m relatively new to WordPress, I’ve had some blogs in the past and I was quite happy with the online CMS. I’ve come back to it for the first time in a few years today and I’m having real trouble setting up a new film/tv review site.

    Basically, I have two issues which I need to resolve:

    1. I need posts to show up on the ‘Home’ Page, but also to show up on the pages relating to the their category. I know that I can do this through the menu settings which I have but…

    2. I need the category heading on the theme to match the category name (as it would if it were a separate Page), instead of the standard ‘archives’.

    Once I get this sorted I’ll be happy with the site and can start adding posts, so as you can imagine, it’s frustrating the hell out of me. Any help would be much appreciated, but please remember, I am absolutely useless with this type of thing, so reply in the most basic of terms. Thanks in advance.
