menu overlapping images

Hi,

My main menu bar at the top has my logo at the top left and the menu (primary) items along the top, that turns into a burger menu on mobile devices. However on my site the main images are missing bits at the top, as this main menu bar is over the top of the images.

Is there a way to make the menu par be at the very top of the site and then the images start just below this section? So the image is not cropped by the menu bar
