Working for old browser versions does consume a lot of development time.
As nobody gets paid to develop free themes, it is understandable if themes do not work in old browser versions.
Do you have a section of the dashboard named, “Custom CSS” or “Edit CSS”, or are you using a Child Theme?

Im using a Child theme…
And I use media queries…
And I know that IE8 doesnt accept media queries… so what to do?

Is Media Queries the issue then?
If so, use this plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/respondjs/
