I don’t know if anyone else has seen this problem yet.

    1. Create three pages
    a. Page 2 and Page 3 are children of Page 1.
    2. Create a menu and add pages 1,2 and 3
Place pages 2 and 3 under page 1 as children of page 1.
    Save the menu.
The menu label for Page 2 will change to the menu label used by page 1. The menu label for page 3 remains as page 3.

Can anyone else reproduce this problem in their installation? Changing the menu label for page 2 always reverts to the menu label for page 1 after saving the menu. If you remove page 2 then the label for page 3 is changed to the label used by page 1.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
