• hi:
I am successfully using the plugin to hide menu items on the desktop based upon role and logged in status.
I am using the Astra theme and Elementor/Elementor Pro page builder.
    All are the current version.
Is there a solution to this issue?

    Thanks in advance,

    Bob

NMR isn’t doing anything different as a function of what device users are on, so if it’s working on a desktop I’m thinking this issue is related to something else.

Is your theme perhaps using a 2nd menu for displaying on tablets? Do you have a link? Are you using any kind of caching?

yes, I am using wp-super-cache and caching only specific pages.

Caching plugins will cache the menu… which often leads to incorrect menus. I currently don’t have a workaround for that.

@helgatheviking Thanks for the update. WP-SUPER-CACHE allows me to selectively eliminate pages from the cache. Is there a ‘slug’ that could be used to exclude the menu?
    Thanks again,

The menu itself isn’t a page/post. This was a pretty good explanation: https://stackoverflow.com/a/62315099/383847

I do not believe Nav Menu Roles can be made compatible with any caching plugins. I would be curious if they have a way to break out of caching for any code blocks… you might be able to do something with that.
