Menu items missing in 3.4.21, updating loses settings

With WP 4.7.2 and Customizr 3.4.21 most of our Customizr menu items are missing (images at https://goo.gl/Dywe40). Updating to Customizr 3.5.2 restores the menu items, but all our customizr settings and images are lost.

We’ve tried clearing and disabling WP Fastest Cache, and we’ve tried disabling all plugins, without success. Reinstalling WP also fixes the issue, but then we again lose all our customizr settings with no way to recover them.

While our nonprofit donated via PayPal when we adopted customizr, we haven’t purchased pro.

Our developer has released version 3.5.3 in an attempt to fix this issue.

Please update and let us know if you are still having problem.

Please clear your cache plugin’s cache content and browser history after theme update.

While updating to either 3.5.2 or 3.5.4 restores all the menu items, our further problem is:

This still happens when updating from 3.4.21 directly to 3.5.4:

Hi,

Your screenshot shows your preview is not loaded completely.
This could be a non related issue.

Please get your web hosting company to take a look at your error log and troubleshoot accordingly.

You can also do a plugin conflict check.

It turns out that we’d modified the php when we first implemented customizr, and forgot to port the modified php when we updated customizr to fix the missing menu items. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks for fixing the missing menu items issue.
